Christmas Decorations & Gifts

Happy Christmas Everyone

This is my last post before Christmas so I would like to wish you all a happy & restful holiday period.

I have been busy with those final gifts and last minute requests that have been forgotten – the thing I enjoyed making the most was the tree decorations – my angels.  They are very simple but have great impact on the tree.  I would like to hear what you think.

I am taking a small break from the blog, my first post for 2015 will be the 2nd of February, I hope you will take a look at what I have been up to then.

Christmas Card for Friends & Family

Hi there

This week has been all about catching up with my Christmas stuff – so I have been busy making cards and sending them out to friends and family.

Also, last Monday I attended a very small craft fair for the Manx Hospice which was a lot of fun (and the last fair of the year!).

Must dash, more gifts to make!

Jewellery Commissions

Morning Everyone

This has been a very quiet week for me, following all the Christmas Fairs, and I have done very little in the way of crafting. I did, however, finish off some pieces which were orders from my jewellery party.

I will be at my final fair today at the Manx Hospice for a few hours and then I will be trying to catch up on my own gifts and cards for the festive season.

Enjoy the week.

Great Christmas Gifts

Hi Everyone

I can’t believe another week has disappeared – who knows where they go?  Unfortunately, I’ve not been very well this last week (again!) so I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked.

What I did do was mainly jewellery based because I could do that from the warmth of my bed in between napping!

I also attended the Laxey Christmas Fair last weekend, and if you were there I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Next Saturday morning I will be in the Manx Crafters’ Gift Shop in Douglas to run the “Santa’s Pants” workshop, so please do drop in if you are passing.

Christmas Treasures

Good morning

Looking out my window it is a beautiful day, if a little cold.  This past week I have been busy checking all my wares for the biggest Christmas fair which is coming up next weekend in Laxey – please do come if you are a local, it is always one of the best.

I have also made just a couple of Victorian tree decorations for the Manx Craft Guild tree, which will be on display on the alternative trees at Port Erin’s Magical Christmas on Saturday 6 December.

But I have had most fun with my Holly Topiary tree – I just love it and hope you do too. I’d very much like to know what you think.

Have a great week.

Christmas is still coming

Happy dry Monday

Last week was a bit of a washout for me, I had a bad cold so mostly lying on the sofa watching rubbish TV (very rubbish).

So come Thursday a major panic attack - realising I had a craft fair on Saturday so I made a few cards.  Then on Friday I made a Paisley necklace for a friend to take to a birthday party as a gift, I really enjoyed this project – let me know what you think of it.

The craft fair on Saturday for Motor Neurone was fun and well patronised so if you attended I hope you had a great time.

Jewellery Party

Good morning all

This last week has been quite frantic making and getting ready for my 1st Jewellery Party with my friend Lou because together we are Hatters (face book page coming soon).

I hope you like the new pieces and if you attended the party I really hope you had a great time because I certainly did.  I feel it was fun and therefore a success – I would love to hear your views.

Christmas is still coming

Hi Everyone

This week I have been making some more Christmas Cards and a really pretty wreath.

I also had a great time at the MSPCA craft fair on Sunday and, if you called by, thanks for supporting the event and I hope you enjoyed the afternoon.

I am having a Jewellery Party next week, so a lot of my time and energy is going towards getting ready for that. Hopefully there will be lots of photos to post next week.

Christmas Cards

Morning All

Well, what a busy week that was! I have been concentrating on getting some Christmas Cards done, I’m nowhere near finished with all my ideas yet, but it’s a start – so watch out for more.

I also held my workshop making Hop tu Naa (Halloween) lanterns on Saturday, I had a great time and I hope my guests did too – they were soooo talented and produced great lanterns.  Watch out for them out and about this coming week and especially the big night on Friday.

Stay dry if you can
