Wrapping

What a bright and beautiful morning (for a change)!

A couple of my friends had birthdays last week so I decided to decorate some bags for easy, and personalised, present wrapping. Let me know what you think, there really is no limit to what you can use for the decoration.

Kumihimo Braiding

Morning All

I am starting to think the rain will never end and being a hermit is not such a bad career after all.
This week has seen a jewellery frenzy taking place. Kumihimo is my new passion and it is soooo versatile. There are still endless patterns to learn, but I am very pleased with the results of what I have done so far – more to come later in the year I am sure.

Roses

Good Morning
On Saturday I attended my 1st craft fair of the year. Unfortunately, it was horrible weather, windy and pelting rain, so not many browsers to be tempted into purchasing my wares. On the plus side, it meant plenty of time to catch up with other crafters after the Christmas break.
As Valentines is only a week away I have been making some roses and a tin pail to keep them in (all made from paper and card, of course!) – I hope you like it, I was pleased with the end result.

Covered Boxes

Hey! It’s February already and getting lighter every day (or is that just me?).

This week I have been doing some up-cycling. I can’t seem to throw out any boxes or packaging that look like they might have “potential”, so I finally got around to covering some with really beautiful papers and embellishments to give them a whole new life.

I really like the end results, hope you do too.

Black & White always looks good and glittery flowers never hurt either

Double window box with roses and Moroccan style paper

This paper doesn’t need much of anything else
Red is always a winner and I love it with green
