Morning All

Since participating in small craft fairs for the cruise ships which call at the Island, I have been thinking about producing something fun, quick and fairly cheap for the cruisers (if that’s the right word for folks on cruise ships) to take home as presents. So I have come up with a couple of items and I would very much like to hear what you think of my Manx drink coasters and note books.

 

I do have another couple of ideas but they will have to wait for a few weeks as today is the start of the Manx Grand Prix/ Classic TT races so I will be taking a week off, and there will be no post next Monday.  Enjoy next week and I will be back on 1^st September.

Royal Show

Hi Everyone

Last week was very busy, lots of stuff to get ready for the Royal Show held on Friday & Saturday.  I had a stall in the Manx Craft Guild tent on Saturday which was very successful for me - so I would just like to say “Hello” to all the new and interesting people I meet and also a “Thank you” to those who enjoyed my work.

Patchwork Quilt

Good Morning

I am having quite a lot of work done at my house just now and, because dust and paper really don’t go well together, I turned my attention to my very first patchwork quilt (which was started a long time ago!). Well, over the week end I finished it, I love it and would like to hear what you think.

Having said that, it has taken me so long to get done I won’t be rushing to start another one anytime soon!
