On The Shelf Cards

Happy Sunny Morning to you all

Over the next couple of months I will be trying to reorganise my workroom – a large job! I started the process over the weekend and, while going through the first of the shelves, I discovered some CDs which I had purchased a while ago, and they sparked a creative urge. The CDs were by ‘My Craft Studio’ and were patterns for ‘On the Shelf’ cards. I have had great fun in playing with the patterns and making the selection below.

I hope you like them - they are quick, easy and just good fun to make!

I will be at Port Erin this coming week the details are below, hope to see you there.

Kumihimo

Good Morning

Last week it was time to catch up with a Kumihimo project - a lariat necklace which I have been working on for what feels like ages. The rose gold coloured beads wrapped around the cords was a trial and I needed several attempts to get it right.

I then made some ear rings to assure myself that I can work with small beads successfully!

Don’t forget I will be running an Up-cycling workshop next Saturday and the details are bottom of this post.

Poppy Appealing

Happy Spring

Bearing in mind that I was going to be attending a Poppy Appeal fair, I had put my mind to what would be a fun thing to make. I came up with a Poppy Shadow box and I was very pleased with the outcome - it looks even better then I hoped it would.  I also did a quick rummage in my drawers and come up with a silk painting that I did sometime ago when I was playing, so a quick iron and it was ready to go.

To everyone was in Colby for the Poppy Appeal coffee morning, thanks for coming and I hope you enjoyed it.

My next event will be an Up-cycling workshop and I have put the poster at the bottom of today’s blog.  It would be great to see you there if you are local, you can contact me if you would like to attend.

Happy Memories

Morning Everyone

Over the last week I finally got to do a memory book for my cats which I have been meaning to do for a very long time.  I was so pleased with the outcome that I have made 3 more to sell on my up coming stalls.

To everyone that come out to the Easter fair on Saturday in Port Erin, great to see you and I hope you all had a great weekend.

I will be at the Colby Football Club next Saturday morning for the Poppy Appeal coffee morning, it would be great to see you there.
