Morning everyone

With summer on the way I have been playing with my hats again and have come up with something I hope you like. I had in mind a garden party or summer wedding but, whatever the occasion, I think it’s fun. The embellishment is removable so if you take the hat off you can wear it in your hair.

I have also made what I hope are anytime summer wear necklace and earrings from Sodalite & shell pearl. They will go with everything from your jeans & white shirt to a summer dress.

It would be great to hear what your think.

Hi Everyone

One of the big birthdays I have in June is my Mother’s. She is turning 80 this year and so I have been working on a special piece of jewellery for her. 

I have chosen to use Moonstone because that is her birthstone, and it’s a bit different to pearls. I am using pink wire because that is a colour that she likes and I think it will work well with her skin tone.

The necklace has been made using a Kumihimo disk and is finished with a clasp made from the same pink wire to complement it.

June is a big birthday month for me so I have been catching up on some of my friends’ birthday cards. I thought you might like to have a quick look at just a couple.
