Morning Everyone

I am still awaiting the return of my computer and it is getting very frustrating as I should 

be getting ready for the Manx Royal Show. I have too many ideas and no means to create 

them, hopefully I will have it back by the middle of the week.

So instead I have been making up the remainder of my bright summer beads, and also playing with some silver freshwater pearls and sterling silver chain to make a bracelet and ear rings which are I think are rather delicate and refined.

I will be at St Catherines Hall, Port Erin on Saturday so maybe I will see you there.

Summer Bright Jewellery

Morning All

I am unfortunately having a very frustrating time with my computer and am not able to use my Silhouette cutting machine. I have my magic computer man on the case but I am not sure when it will be back. So, for the next week or so I am going to be playing with some jewellery ideas which I have had for a while and no time to do anything with them.

I have made a kumihimo necklace which I saw some time ago by Sara Elvin, I think it is just beautiful and the flowers are made from wire ribbon.

I have also been making some fun summer stretchy bracelets and a necklace to match, easy to wear and will go with everything.

Up-Cycled Pots & Containers

Hi Everyone

This week I have been trying some new ideas on my up-cycled pots & containers. It is always fun to repurpose something successfully – which is not always the case!

I tried using some new types of paper – i.e. some of the wall paper samples that I was given, as well as hessian and thick recycled brown paper. I like the results very much, it would be great to hear any comments that you might have.

2 Strands of Beads

Hi Everyone

So sorry for the delay in posting this week, my computer died on the weekend and as it was a holiday here on Monday, I couldn’t call my wonderful fixit man until yesterday.

So, over the last week I thought it might be fun to take 2 strands of beads and see how much summer jewellery I could make. The beads are coral, in two colours and they are shaped like dumbbells, so they give some nice texture.

I was able to make 1 necklace, 2 bracelets and 2 pairs of ear rings so I was pleased about that and it was interesting for me to have to come up with designs for the same beads.
