Off the Shelf Cards

A very good morning from a sunny Isle of Man!

I hope I’m not tempting fate but it appears that the computer is fully operational again so it was obviously time to fire up the Silhouette cutter and make some On the Shelf cards!

All these designs came from My Craft Studio and I think they cover a good selection of events and messages – it’s up to you what you say and how you say it.

For interest I have shown one card in its component parts so you can see what goes into one.

New Jewellery Makes

Good Morning

I have tried some new stuff again this week with my jewellery and I would very much like to hear what you think.

I used some wonderful coloured beading thread to make a great, light necklace, my first cuff links and a head band which is incredibly comfortable to wear.

The bikes have started to arrive on the island for this weeks practice sessions, let’s hope the weather stays bright and dry!

Hi, Good Morning

I have been getting ready for visitors this week so I have only had a small amount of time for fun. I have managed to have a good time making swirls in a couple of styles and I hope that you like them.

If we met at the Manx Royal Show, I hope you had a great time and thanks for dropping by.

Tea for Two

Morning Everyone

This week I finally got some real paper crafting done. I was preparing for the Manx Royal Show which was held on Friday and Saturday last week. If you attended I hope you had a great time.

I decided that I would like to portray afternoon tea in paper, so I have made a Victorian tea pot, two tea cups and a pretty box to hold your tea bags. I added to the display one of my cupcake boxes and a lovely decorated gift box not to mention my Topiary Tree.

I hope that you like the display - which I have placed on a doily embroidered by my grandmother. Have a great week.

Recycled Boxes

Hi Fellow Crafters
I am sorry to say my computer pain still goes on, I got it returned to me on Wednesday and it has now stopped working altogether - not ideal at all.
So, to help appease my paper cravings I have managed to decorate some more recycled boxes, and I think they look great.
I was at St Catherines Hall, Port Erin last Saturday and we had a reasonably nice day, although a little bit windy. If you did happen to call in then thanks and it was great to see you.
I will be at the Manx Royal Show this coming weekend: Friday 7th and Saturday 8th August - it is a huge show with all sorts of activities going on, I hope to see you there.
