Summer Fun

Good morning

I have had more time to play this week and have been having some great fun. I have completed a suite of shell jewellery with silver links from a dismantled chain, and also a couple of rings I have been meaning to try for sometime.

I was quite pleased with the results of the shell pieces - I have already sold the necklace and I hope very much that Amanda enjoys it.  It gives me great pleasure to think someone is having fun wearing my wares.

Next Saturday is the monthly craft fair at St. Catherine’s Church Hall, Port Erin, 10:30 to 3:30.  I am not sure if I will be there yet, but it will be fun none the less.

Afternoon Tea

Good morning

This week I have been planning my friend’s birthday afternoon tea. Finding time to make this month’s birthday cards has been hard, but I got there in the end - going for simple but effective, I hope.

The birthday cake was fun to make and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, so here are some pictures to join in the fun.

Stretchy Bracelets

Good morning

I have been looking for easy to wear bracelets in the warmer weather and I discovered these double drilled puffy squares. I made some stretchy bracelet from a variety of stones with earrings to match: they are Picture Jasper, White Howlite and Dalmatian Jasper.

Enjoy the sun and avoid the sunburn.

Rocker/Wobbler Cards

Hi Everyone

While cleaning and tidying out my work room, I found these rocker/wobble cards which I purchased from Kanban probably 3 or 4 years ago, so I decided to make them.  It was great find and they made me smile no end.

I think that they make fabulous children’s birthday cards that will keep them entertained.
