Unicorn's are the Best

Hi All

I feel as if Spring is finally showing its face and we have had a great week and an even better weekend. Because I feel so great in the sun this week I have made a couple of unicorn boxes in two colours, pink and purple. I just love them and they are so much fun, I got the pattern from Jennifer Rush on Silhouette.

I would love to hear what you think as always, have a great week.

Large Ear Rings

Happy Easter Everyone

I hope that you are all enjoying your Easter break and that the weather is being kind to you.

Lately I have been making ear rings, something I don’t tackle very often – don’t know why. I like large ear rings so I made three pairs, it took me much longer to choose gems then it did to actually make them!

The first pair are silver chandeliers with lovely little amethyst stones. The second pair are also chandeliers and have an antique bronze colour and I have matched them with garnets and green amethyst. The third and final pair are gold in colour and I have used glitter nail polish to fill in some of the cut out designs.

All in all I am very happy with the ear rings and the very different looks that they provide. Let me know what you think.

Easter is coming

Good Morning

Well guess what? It’s Easter next week so I’ve been busy making Easter bunnies which were ordered last week.

It was so much fun knowing that they will be given to small people next weekend and they hopefully will have fun both eating the chocolate and also playing with the rabbits!

I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the build up to Easter and also the event itself.

Moonstone & Labradorite

Morning All

This week I have been working on a commission for a bracelet of Moonstone & Labradorite. After checking to see what gem stones I had in my stash, I found some lovely chips so decided to make a Kumihimo piece. I loved the finished product but then decided that the client may not because I think this is rather an acquired taste.

So I searched again and discovered some Labradorite faceted coins and 3 mm Moonstone beads and made a simple threaded bracelet.

Over the weekend I saw my client and they chose the coin bracelet, this has only proved to me that I always need to give my clients a choice.

If you called in to Port Erin on Saturday then I hope you found something you liked and enjoyed the beautiful day.

Have a great week.
