Morning everyone

This week I have been learning to pearl knot - let me tell you it is not as easy as it looks!  So after many failed attempts, I have completed a necklace and ear rings which I hope you like. The focal pendent on the necklace and the ear rings have been made with a double gizmo coil which I think is very effective. The design for these pieces was one from Claire MacDonald, a guest designer on Jewellery Maker.

I will be in Port Erin next Saturday 1th July, so if you are out and about do call in to St Catherine’s Church Hall and say Hi.

Chinese Lanterns

Good Morning

I am not sure why but my fascination for tea light creations presses on.  So this week I made two Chinese lanterns for my courtyard garden - I think they are quirky and eye-catching. I bought the pattern from Dreaming Tree.com, so much fun to make.

Hi Everyone

What a turbulent week for the weather on the Isle of Man – rain one minute followed by brilliant sunshine! Still, when it was fine the racing was very exciting. With the huge number of bikers that come across for the races in mind, I made some skull jewellery pieces and have included a photo of them on display in the shop that sells my jewellery.

I also made two bracelets this week and it’s a design that I have not used before. I really enjoyed the process and I think the results are great. But, as always, I would like to know what you think of my creations and hear about what you have been making.

Morning Everyone

More and more when I sell my jewellery I am asked for gift boxes to go with the pieces.  So, this week I have been going through my box collection so I can up-cycle them by covering and decorating.

Here are the results, it always astounds me how long it take for me to decide on paper and embellishments, so what should take just a couple of days can carry on for a whole week..
