Ipod & Spanner Art

Hi morning

My partner in craft, Fuzzy Designs has been creating and these are a couple of his latest creations & his ramblings.

You don’t have to spend much time listening to people who restore old vehicles before the subject of roadside repairs comes up. Apparently, almost any problem could be solved in a matter of minutes with whatever was lying around – the truth, needless to say, was often a lot less straightforward.

However, I thought it might be fun to take these tales at face value and repurpose a set of old spanners that were cluttering up the “one day” pile. So, The Complete British Motorcycle Toolkit was born! If it can’t be fixed with these three spanners then it’s probably beyond help!

Another item in the “one day” pile was a dead iPod. This was something of an annoyance to me as it had been deliberately designed by Apple to be extremely difficult to repair (earlier versions were relatively simple to open up) but, even when broken, I thought it was still a nice looking thing – but what to do with it? Some lateral thinking made me wonder about how an iPod “dies” and, if it was shot, would it bleed music? Of course it would! So, some “bullet” holes were strategically drilled, some musical “blood” added and another project is finished!

Enjoy the run up to Christmas.
