Morning
After having learned that the colour of the season is bright mustard, I went looking through my Mookite stash. This is Jasper found only in Australia and I just love the range of colours it come in, from rusty red to pale cream and lots in between.
So I have used three cabochons, the first is a rectangular slab in mustard and I have kept it simple with a small gold bale and a wire rose to dangle from the bale. The second is a trilante which is multi coloured and that has been set in gold aluminium wire claws so that you can see all of the stone. The third is a pretty donut in pale cream and I have used both gold and antique bronze wire to create a swirling design around the stone.
All the pieces are special in their own way and could be worn everyday with ease.
Don’t forget to let me know what you are making; I would love to hear about it.
