Wishbone Ear Rings

Hi Everyone

Sorry for not posting last week as I was in bed with a terrible cold and this week I have been recovering.

So, while I was incapacitated I have been making some earrings which didn’t require me to sit at my work table.  These wishbone earrings are both fun and stunning to wear, once in the ear they twinkle like mad and I just love them.

Back to normal – or as normal as I get, next week.  Keep enjoying the summer and stay healthy.

Jewellery for Fairs

 Good morning

With the second agricultural show to attend in five weeks, I decided to make some threaded jewellery this week.

The first is a knotted necklace from round mother of pearl discs which have been printed with a snake skin print.  They are very pretty and I have teamed them with some black shell pearl.

I then made a delicate necklace and ear rings using cubes of crackled quartz in multi colours which are just beautiful, and I am thinking of keeping them for myself!

The third and last creations are a necklace and bracelet made from agate and apatite which give me a summer beach vibe that we are all just craving, so I hope we get there eventually!

If you attended the Royal Agricultural Show this weekend, I hope you found something nice to take home.  As always, I would love to hear what you are up to.

Fun Birthday Cards

Good morning

I have been making some friends’ birthday cards this week and they are quite varied as I have made them with the recipients in mind.

The first is a pretty bird card just for the joy of having a nice life; the second is a great highland cow, that I just love the image of, and my friend is very fond of cows – so what can I say.  The third is for a friend who loves beer more then he should, but it’s all worth it!

I will be at the Royal Agricultural Show this weekend both Friday 13th and Saturday 14th so if you are attending call into the Manx Craft Guild tent and say Hi.  As always, I would love to hear what you are up to.

Ear Rings for Summer

 Hi Everyone

While looking through my made jewellery for the next craft fair, I decided I was missing a variety of ear rings.  So I set about correcting this and have made the following:

The first creation is the prettiest blue chalcedony with rose gold coloured wire in a long rectangle - next was gold coloured leaf long pieces of aquamarine, kunzite and lemon quartz.

Then I moved on to clear quartz with diamante rondells in silver plate with pink, baby blue, green, red, black and clear diamantes. Finally, I made some long chain ear rings with lovely onion shaped gems in green onyx, amethyst and blue chalcedony.

If you attended the Southern Agricultural Show at the weekend, I hope you had a great time and found something fun to take home. As always, I would love to hear what you are up to.
