Mother of the Bride

Hello everyone

I have had a very busy week with not much time to craft, so I just made two sets of jewellery - the same design but using different gem stones.  For both sets I used a pretty centre piece made from base metal and covered in 24 ct gold, it’s a flower double ended bead cap which has pave cubic zirconia set into it.

I have used black and lavender fire agate in the first set, and blue marcasite for the second.  They both look simple but elegant and perfect for the mother of the bride.

I hope you like what I have made and are having fun doing your own stuff.

Elastic Braclets

Good Morning

With my first craft fair of 2022 coming up in a couple of weeks, I have been busy making some staples to start off the new season.  I started with a selection of bracelets – most of which are elastic but I used findings in some of the others because I came across them when having a rummage.

I am happy with the outcome and think they will do well on my upcoming stall.

I’d like to hear what you have been making - keep in touch.

The Beauty of Squares

Morning

This week is all about squares. I really like how square cut gemstones sit and interact with each other.  So I have used large frosted rose quartz squares and slices with small strawberry quartz squares.  The way they share the space, and sit so snugly together makes for an impactful design.

I have also made bright and sparkly hair clips in two sizes, they are just so fun and make me smile every time they catch my eye.

I’d like to hear what you have been making - keep in touch.

Sparkle Sparkle

Hi

I had a great deal of trouble deciding what to make this week and I finally decided to go for a gem stone chain.  I chose a chain that had links large enough for a fine headpin to go through.  The headpins are quite fancy, they have tear drop gemstones set at the top of them and, when secured onto the chain, they have just enough movement to make them striking.

I have discovered in my stash some very pretty pendants on 925 sterling silver with multi coloured cubic zirconia in bagets that look stunning when added to sterling silver chains.

I hope you like these makes and I would like very much to hear what you have been making.
